  The following table lists which firmware updates are available and appropriate for each Oceanic Personal Dive Computer model.
  
  Before you start upgrading, we strongly recommend that you BACKUP all data.

  PC Interface Software (OceanLog)

  If you are experiencing difficulties, first ensure that you have installed the most current patch. To verify that the correct version is installed, click "About" from the program main menu to check the version number. Our FAQ Section will solve most problems.
  
  NOTE: Please read these instructions carefully prior to downloading or installing any programs! Failure to do so may result in the loss of dive data and personal log information located in previously installed versions.
  
  Prior to installing any programs, browse your existing OceanLog program directory to locate the database file with .DLG extension. Copy and paste this file to another location in the event that your dive data is lost during new program installation. Upon installation of the new patch or full version, if existing dive data is not found, once again copy and paste the .DLG file into the same directory of the new version.
  
  USB Drivers must be downloaded and run in addition to the OceanLog program. Download and run the file to extract all files to a location on your hard drive. Note this location. When you connect the USB Cable for the first time, two separate "New Hardware Wizards" will walk you through the process to locate and install the correct drivers.
  
  If you experience any difficulties either installing the drivers, the OceanLog program or downloading your dives, our FAQ Section will help solve most problems.
  
  To begin download: Click on the file you wish to download and select "Run" or "Save".

  Install directions
  
  If this is the first time you are downloading and using our software, follow the steps below. Our software is complicated and has many more applications that other software you may have used in the past or are currently using. It will take a little while to get used to the software, its applications and your dive computer.
  
  1. Download the FULL version, only, of Oceanlog or from our Internet site, www.oceanic-eu.com or www.oceanicworldwide.com .This will overwrite all of the old software.
  
  2. Download the appropriate drivers, X64bit Driver is the usual unless you have a 64 bit processor in your PC, in which download the 64 bit drivers.
  
  USB Driver Download 405 KB  for Windows 98Se/Me
  Download & extract .exe to your local hard drive. Follow USB Driver Installation Instructions from the software Help.
  
  USB Driver Download 664 KB for Windows 2000/XP/x32bit
  Remove USB cable from PC USB port, download & extract .exe to install driver.
