The outer Lycra layer is a 180 g/sqm knitted nylon warp knit Tricot with water repellent. Then an impermeable breathable microporous high stretch PU film that is wind proof is the middle layer. And inside the Polytherm Fleece layer is a 240 g/sqm 4-way stretch polyester fleece with Elastane.
This unique synthetic construction closely matches the stretch and movement of a traditional lycra rash vest, while providing the insulation qualities similar to that of a water sport Neoprene wetsuit. Lavacore’s extreme 4-way stretch nylon Tricot shell, windproof breathable inner and close to the skin Polytherm’s ultra soft thermal fleece produces the ultimate comfort – warmth – weight ratio.
